This is Mark. He is the landscaper/yard maintenance guy at our apartments. He is super nice and the kids and I always love to stop and chat with him. He speaks six languages, Creole, French, English, Spanish, Partoi and a little Papiamento. He tries to speak to me in French but I can't get past 'ca va bien' without saying 'je ne se pas' quite a few times. My grade 11 French is not cutting it so he brought me back a Creole/French/English book from his trip to Haiti. Now I have some homework to do:)
Mark also supplies us with an endless amount of fresh coconuts. No one in the family likes the coconut water, or the jelly coconut meat. But if you let the coconut sit for a bit then the meat hardens and that is my favourite, I could live off that stuff!
