Ahhh, time is flying. It's crazy to think that we have been here for three and a half months, which isn't that long really but at the same time it feels as if we have been here much longer. Statia is really beginning to feel like home, and we are loving it. Monty finishes his first term on Tuesday! We are so excited to spend some fun time with Dad during his little break before term two begins on May 6th! Monty has done really well and is enjoying his classes.
What have me and the kids been up to the last month you ask?

Eli has finally started swimming in the ocean, it only took three months and now I can't keep him out. We started going to the pool once a week and I think that helped him feel more comfortable floating in the water alone, and now not even the waves can stop him. He wants to walk right in by himself and float out deeper just like his big sister. He is a busy 2 1/2 year old who absolutely loves anything to do with cars, trucks, trains, planes and building block towers. He continues to talk a lot at quite a loud volume and cracks me up with some of the sentences he puts together. Before eight o'clock in the morning he is telling me "its time to go out Mum" and Krysten says "I need to get out of the house". I think we have had one full day at home this past month, conference Sunday, and it was a long day:)
Krysten is growing up too fast, she is loving painting and crafting right now. We make something at least once a day, and she has taken an interest in using my face paints to draw up her arm. She loves to dance and will put on little recitals for me. She too is becoming quite the brave swimmer and will dive into a wave before it crashes. She plays with her dolls daily and is going to be quite the babysitter when she is older. She is also quite social and wants to play with her friends all of the time!
She also makes an excellent laundry helper, we do a lot of this:)

Last month I was called as our church group's Relief Society president. For those of you who don't know what that is go here, www.lds.org. Since we don't hold Relief Society class on Sunday, we have an activity once a month where us ladies can get together and have fun while learning more about the gospel. I love this calling. I am spoiled to get to work and play with such wonderful ladies.

Unfortunately, yesterday we had to say goodbye to one of the families from our church group, The Beckett's (far right). Sad for us but happy for them to be on their next adventure and I wish them all the best. Last Tuesday Emelia had a little goodbye party with her girlie friends from the island and asked if I would face paint. In 2 hours I did 7 butterflies, 1 ninja, and 1 dolphin. The girls had a lot of fun and so did I. Im going to miss our crafting days at the Beckett's.

Oh and we are moving!!! Since our 4 month lease was coming up and the Beckett's were leaving we decided to move into their place. We are pretty excited for the change. We will miss our ocean view but look forward to the big yard with trees and get this, they have an american washing machine/dryer. I'll be in heaven! Pics to follow after the move.
