I can't believe I have a five year old. It feels like yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital in Edmonton. Monty and I were thinking about the last five years and cannot believe how much we have done, and we couldn't imagine it without Krysten. She has taught me so much about being a mother. Her strong character tests me in a million ways daily and although she is a lot of work I wouldn't change her one bit, she is making me learn to be more patient and empathetic; two areas I need to constantly work on. What can I say about Krysten? She is very bright and loving. She loves to play games, make crafts, draw, sing, dance, act, play sports, swim and would prefer playing outside over inside almost always. In the last few months she has learned to ride her two wheeler, skip, swim and read.
A few of Krysten's funny sayings lately.
After coming inside one afternoon she says to me "mom its hard to be nice".
Can Santa see me on his iPad?
Before Christmas, "wow I've been really good lately".
