Halloween in the Caribbean....

Halloween is not as popular here in the caribbean as back home. The locals seem to celebrate by having big parties but they do not go door to door. However, we were able to celebrate halloween all week with two parties and trick or treating. Lucky for the kids there are a lot of Americans and other folk who celebrate trick or treating and so we were able to go trick or treating at our friends complex. I'd have to say trick or treating in the heat is where its at, forget all that bundling up and covering up the costumes.

There were pumpkins in the grocery store, but they looked rotten, and I really didn't want to buy one for 20 dollars so we decided to paint coconuts this year and the kids loved it!
