Our Neighbour...

We have wonderful neighbours, Lida and Jaap. They are from Holland and built their house here in Statia in 2007. Krysten would often talk to Lida though the fence but since she is quite shy it took her a bit until she started going over there to feed their cat pouss. She even got the privilege of making pottery with Lida. Lida makes some gorgeous bowls and vases which she sells locally. They have a beautiful garden with over 20 species of palms. Although they love the quiet and peaceful life they have here they have decided to sell their house and move back to Europe to be closer to family.  We will miss our sweet neighbours. Anyone interested? http://houseinthecaribbean.webklik.nl/page/property-overview
